moltfuel (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the moltfuel.ai inference API (the “Service”). This policy explains how we handle your data when you use the Service.

1. Scope

This policy covers two categories of data:

Input Data: prompts, files, text, or any content you send to the API for inference. You own this data.

Service Data: technical and operational information generated from your use of the Service, including API logs, token counts, timestamps, model identifiers, and error codes.

2. How we handle your Input Data

  • Confidentiality: your Input Data is treated as strictly confidential.
  • Purpose limitation: data is processed solely to provide the Service.
  • No training: we do not use your Input Data to train AI models, for any reason.
  • No sale or sharing: data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties, except where legally required or to infrastructure providers bound by confidentiality obligations.

3. Data processing

In transit: all data sent to and from the Service is encrypted using industry-standard protocols (TLS/SSL).

During processing: data is loaded into memory only for the duration of inference and discarded immediately after delivery.

Retention: inputs are not stored post-processing. Outputs are not stored except during transmission back to you. Minimal anonymized metadata may be retained for billing and debugging.

4. Service Data

We collect Service Data automatically to:

  • Authenticate API requests
  • Meter usage and bill your wallet
  • Operate, monitor, and improve the Service

5. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All API traffic is encrypted via TLS. Inference runs in isolated environments. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.

6. Data retention

  • Inference content: not retained (ephemeral)
  • Usage metadata: retained for billing purposes
  • Account data: retained until you request deletion

7. Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable law, you may:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Request data portability

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “last updated” date above.
